With the Open Water Certification you will be allowed to dive with a certified buddy diver without the direct supervision of a dive master or instructor. In this course you will cover the different theoretical and practical aspects that are involved with diving. You will learn to use the gear and its main features, the physiological, physical and environmental aspects of diving and you will also practice water skills and standard safety procedures. Prerequisites: 15 years of age (10 years Jr. Open Water Diver) Duration: 4 days minimum. Materials: Open Water Diver Manual, RDP table and logbook. Knowledge and Development: Open Water Manual, exams and videos. Dives: 20 skills in the swimming pool and 4 open water dives. With the PADI Referral program this course can be organized in different segments: knowledge and development segment on line with PADI e-learning or in a PADI center near you locally.
